A day in Lincoln

woke up at 8 and got to the train station at 08:50..
sat there in the wet and cold for.. 30 mins and got on the 0920 train..
got off in leicester, sat there 30 mins waiting for the train for lincoln...

then finally it came, but HELL, the train smells like OLD PEOPLE!
and it took 2 hours to get to lincoln!! 2 hours!!!
the whole jonerney took me 3 hours!

Anyway, so i got off in lincoln at 12:20 ish,
and my interview was 2:00 so i had plenty of time to wonder around :D
((i got the earlier train so i have enough time to find the uni :D))

Lincoln really is a beautiful town, and such a busy town as well.. there was people EVERYWHERE!
the first shop i went to was McDonald, purely becaz i was very hungry and that was the first food shop i saw...
After eating, i went wonder around.. and then i came to this lakey rivery thingy?



someone was feeding them, thats why they are all over in one place=]





















and then i carried on walking, then guess what i saw?
TOPSHOP! Well, but thatr isnt the point, the point is... ITS LARA ON THE WINDOW!
i have heard a few people from skwl saying it is quite weird to see a person u kn on a wall...
I admit it is quite weird :D i was like 'wow, im in lincoln and i can still see people that i kn! COOL'

For people who isnt from my school, she is basically a model n go to the same school as me

AND THEN, after the great adventure in the Lincoln town centre, its time to find my way to the Uni!
i had a map, so i followed it, well.. as much as i can anyway..
(i do geography, but i cant read maps = =" )
and then i found one of the campus of Lincoln Uni..
but thats the BUSINESS AND LAW campus -,-.. which is nowhere near the campus i need to go to..
So i took out my phone, and turned on google map app..

for people who cant read chinese, it says it would take me 1day and 22 hours to get there.. and i was apparently down near London..
So.. that was a massive fail.. I took out my printed map again and tried to figure out where i was....
then i think i was on the wrong road, so i go cross the road and carried on walking.... it was getting quiter and quiter, i was slightly worried then :(
I looked at the phone, oops it was 01:30 already, so i gave up and asked someone for help..
It was a family with a little boy, n'awwww hes so cute :D
then.. apparently i was on the right road! i just had to carry on walking and look for a McDonald and follow the road to the end then i'll get there!

So i carried on walking, found the McDonald, walked..
Saw a bulding made out of wood and looked quite cool.
but i couldnt see the uni campus still :( lucky, there was a store so i went in there and asked the shopkeeper

Me : excuse me, do u kn where
He : Think tank campus right? just across the road, that massive woodern building

Oh, so it is that building, i didnt think it looked like an uni campus then :S

went into the reception... I was the only one there for an interview, that was awk :S
sat there for a while, then a lady called... Ann? i cant remember, came and took me to her office..
((BTW, the office was tiny!)) she said the programme leader was busy so she told me to put my portfolio on the table and then she took me round the campus..
there campus is actually quite small, doesnt seems to have many students :D

after the walk, we went back to the office and the programme leader lady was there.. I cant rememeber her name either.. i think it might have been sarah.... or i might have made that up PAHHAHA

nth particalarly interesting happened in the interview really..
apart from when they asked me to describe myself in one word....
I said 'CRAZY' 'MENTAL'... such
tbf, im crazy n mental, and i dont think that mess my interview up at all..
they seems to think mental is good :D

overall, it was a very good interview, both of them were very nice and friendly,
i would def. recommend people to go to lincoln.. (even though i might not be going :O)

So, walked back to town, i sort of remembered the road and managed to get back to the train station...
sat there and wait for the train to arrive,
(30 mins again!!! i wouldve went and walked around in the town again if i wasnt really tired :S)
so.. another 3 hours jornery began -.-.. GOD I HATE SITTING FOR 3 HOURS -.-

thats basically the end of the day, but one thing happened when i got off the train and i thought tht was quite funny :D
I needed to call a taxi to take me home caz walking would take, 45 mins-.- im not walking -.-
so i rang up the taxi company
Me: hello, can i get a train to... no, a taxi to blah blah blah please?
He: hahahaha, yes we can get u a train to the taxi ring :D

PAHAHA, been on the train for way too long :D couldnt help it :D
